CHINA: Beijing increases COVID-19 measures

The country's capital has tightened safety measures due to an increase in COVID-19 cases. There are increased testing requirements as well as a mandatory 14 day stay at home notice for anyone who has visited the Xinfadi market, which is thought to be the source of the latest outbreak. In addition, 10 Chinese cities have advised their residents not to travel to the capital.

SPAIN: United Kingdom included in list of countries permitted entry from 21 June 2020

SPAIN: Further terminals set to open at major airports

Spanish airport operator Aena said today that it would re-open Terminal 1 of Madrid’s Barajas Airport on 1 July after three months of closure, while some terminals at Barcelona’s El Prat Airport will re-open through July and August. Barajas’s Terminal 4 was already open, while Barcelona had kept parts of its Terminal 1 open throughout Spain’s COVID-19 border closures.

CANADA: Mandatory temperature checks for air passengers to be introduced
