Emirates flags a month long busy travel period in late November to late December 2022

Emirates is highlighting a busy travel period for both inbound and outbound travel through Dubai for the next month, and recommending passengers arrive to the airport 3 hours in advance of their flight, as well as taking advantage of multiple services that enhance seamless travel. From the 19th of November onwards, Dubai will begin to see a surge in inbound traffic, including visitors for the myriad of winter events like those attending the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend, travellers headed to Doha for football matches, and those arriving for the Emirates Dubai 7s which is set to welcome 5,500 athletes from 32 countries. Oman Air to launch four flights a week services between Muscat and Phuket

Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, will offer four flights a week between Muscat and Phuket, one of Thailand’s most popular resort islands, starting from 15th November 2022. The flights will operate on (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).The Tuesday flight from Muscat will depart at 09:40 and arrive in Phuket at 18:50. The Thursday flight from Muscat will depart at 22:50 and arrive in Phuket on Sunday at 08:00. flynas Increases Its Flights Frequency Between Jeddah and Tashkent

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi launches new route to Moscow

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the capital’s first low-cost carrier, has announced the launch of its new route from Abu Dhabi to Moscow in Russia.The new direct flights will connect Abu Dhabi International Airport to Moscow Domodedovo Airport with a frequency of five flights weekly, starting from November 18, 2022.As part of its expansion plan, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi continues to add more connectivity to and from the capital city. Air Arabia to help launch new low-cost airline in Sudan

A Sudanese conglomerate DAL Group and Emirati Air Arabia form a joint venture to launch a new low-cost airline in Sudan. The new air carrier will be called Air Arabia Sudan. The new company will be based in Khartoum International Airport (KRT) in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. Air Arabia Sudan will operate a fleet of new Airbus A320 aircraft and will adopt Air Arabia Group’s low-cost business model. Work on securing the relevant approvals and licenses is scheduled to commence shortly, DAL Group and Air Arabia announced in a statement released on September 22, 2022.

Emirates to add five weekly flights to its flight schedule to Algeria

Emirates will increase the frequency of its services to Algiers with the addition of a fifth weekly flight, effective 7 October. The newest service will complement Emirates’ existing operations between Dubai and Algiers, currently running at four flights a week. The latest addition of services to the airline’s schedule will provide additional connectivity for customers traveling to Dubai and onwards to Emirates’ global network.Emirates will utilise its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft between Algiers and Dubai, and the newest service will operate on Friday, in addition to the airline’s flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Flight EK758 departs Algiers at 15:45hrs, arriving in Dubai at 01:05hrs the next day. EK757 departs Dubai at 08:45hrs, arriving in Algiers at 12:55hrs.

Flydubai becomes first UAE carrier to operate Dubai-Namangan route

Dubai-based carrier flydubai has announced the launch of twice-weekly flights to Namangan in Uzbekistan starting September 24. It will therefore become the first UAE carrier to offer direct flights from Dubai to the Uzbekistan’s third-largest city of Namangan. Flights to Namangan International Airport (NMA) will operate from Terminal 2 at Dubai International (DXB) on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The addition of flights to Namangan makes it the third point in Uzbekistan including Samarkand which launches on September 20, and the capital, Tashkent that flydubai operates to.

Qatar Airways to expand passenger capacity on its flights to and from Perth

Starting 6 December 2022, Qatar Airways will be increasing passenger capacity on its flights to and from Perth. Previously operated by the Boeing B777-300ER, passengers will now have a chance to journey on board the A380, featuring a three-class configuration of seating over two decks with a dedicated onboard premium lounge. The aircraft will accommodate an additional 163 passengers daily adding up to 517 seats spread across the three cabins: eight First Class seats, 48 Business Class seats and 461 Economy Class seats.

Turkish Airlines hikes UAE-Istanbul flight frequencies

Turkish Airlines, the national carrier of the Turkey, plans to increase flight frequencies to Istanbul from Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah, reinforcing connectivity in response to growing customer demand.Currently, Turkish Airlines has three daily flights from Dubai to the Istanbul Airport which will increase to four daily flights starting from October 2022 together with three weekly flights to the Sabiha Gokcen Airport operated by Anadolujet. Flight TK765 will depart from Dubai (DXB) at 16:00, and flight TK764 will depart from Istanbul at 08:15.The airline’s daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Istanbul Airport will increase to weekly 10 flights starting from October 2022. Flight TK867 will depart from Abu Dhabi at 07:55 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sunday. Flight TK866 will depart from Istanbul at 01:20 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sunday.
