CYPRUS: Country's government introduces increased COVID-19 restrictions for UK passengers
The country's government has announced that, in addition to other entry requirements, from 21 December all passengers arriving from the UK will be required to take a further COVID-19 PCR test on arrival and remain in authority-assigned quarantine facilities for a minimum of seven days. After seven days, with another negative COVID-19 PCR test result, passengers can move to private accommodation and continue their self-isolation for a further three days. The restrictions have been introduced in response to the discovery of a new strain of COVID-19 within parts of the UK.
