In an update to restrictions on international arrivals to the country, all passengers travelling in or out of Azerbaijan will require certification of a negative COVID-19 with a result issued less than 48 hours prior to the flight. Passengers with a negative result on arrival will not be required to stay in quarantine or self-isolate.

The country's prime minister has announced that Philip Goldson International Airport will reopen 15 August, effectively jump-starting international tourism to Belize once again. There are though a number of requirements in place for visitors, including daily check-ins on a government app in order to report their movement within the country; passengers must also take a PCR COVID-19 test either shortly before departure from their country of origin, or within 72 hours of their arrival, at their own cost.

Following a small surge in COVID-19 cases, China has imposed strict lockdown conditions on around 400,000 residents of Anxin county, a jurisdiction of Baoding City around 90 miles south of Beijing in Hebei province. Officials announced yesterday that Anxin would be fully closed and controlled, in a move that is reminiscent of those imposed in Wuhan at the height of the pandemic.

LNER have published an update series of resources on health and safety measures being implemented for travel on its UK rail network, including information on air filtering systems being employed. Also included are updated timetables, in-station requirements and a reminder of mandatory PPE guidelines.

The country will from today permit foreign nationals to enter Taiwan providing they are not entering for tourism or to visit friends. A visa application will be required prior to travel and arrivals must provide a negative COVID-19 certificate, as well as being subject to quarantine.

The country's minister of transport has today announced the resumption of further civil aviation activities - as of 1 July 2020, the following domestic airports will re-open: Bram Fischer International Airport, Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, Pietermaritzburg Airport, Port Elizabeth International Airport, Richardsbay Airport, Skukuza Airport and Upington International Airport. Previously, domestic travel from international airports serving Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban had been allowed to resume. International travel remains prohibited and South Africa's borders remain closed until further notice, with the exception of repatriation flights.

The country's national airline is set to resume flights between Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and Manchester Airport from 2 July, operating three services per week departing on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Ethiopian Airlines are currently also offering seven flights per week from Addis Ababa to London Heathrow Airport, as well as routes to other European cities.

The airline has announced that from 1 July it will begin to book flights at full capacity, in comparison to their cap of around 85% in previous months. The existing policy is already seen as a much less strict cap than competitors such as Delta Air Lines, who are booking to 60% capacity and blocking all middle seats. The move by American Airlines is seen as a sign that social distancing precautions will no longer be a priority - however the airline is reportedly due to still continue a policy which allows customers to change their flight at no extra cost if it's likely to be full.

The Dubai-based airline has said that it will now resume passenger flights to over 50 cities in July, after announced the re-starting of additional services; flights will resume to Cairo, Egypt (from 1 July), Tunis, Tunisia (from 1 July), Glasgow, United Kingdom (from 15 July) and Malé, Maldives (from 16 July).

The country’s government has announced the lifting of a curfew instated since March, on 1 July; the international airport will also resume operations on 12 July, when an Air Canada flight is due to arrive. This will be followed, for now, by flights on 18 July, 25 July and 1 August with British Airways, jetBlue and Virgin Atlantic respectively.

The country's government is expected to make an announcement by 29 June on the introduction of a series of 'travel corridors', which will allow passengers from qualifying countries to arrive into the UK without the need to self-quarantine. The first corridors are speculated to be due to come into force from 4 July, however this is by no means confirmed; countries that could be eligible include France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Belgium, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Turkey and Finland.

The airline has announced that by August they will resume flights to more than 60 routes with 600 weekly services; they recently resumed flights to some European destinations, Brazil and the U.S.

From 1 August, domestic U.S arrivals to Hawaii will not be subject to state quarantine if providing evidence of testing negative for COVID-19. Visitors seeking the exemption must produce results of an FDA-approved test taken within 72 hours before arriving in Hawaii. The 14-day mandatory self-quarantine for out-of-state visitors, which was recently extended to 31 July, will remain in effect for those who have not been tested.

A trade group representing most U.S. airlines has reportedly said that its members will refund passengers who fail mandatory temperature checks. Although such checks are not yet required nationally, they’re currently being trialed at Los Angeles International Airport. Members of the group, Airlines for America, include United Airlines, Delta Airlines, Alaska Airlines and American Airlines.

The airline's administrator, Deloitte, today entered into a sale agreement with U.S global investment firm Bain Capital. The firm has vowed to keep thousands of jobs, honour all employee entitlements and carry forward all travel credits and Velocity frequent flyer booked flights.

The country's authorities have advised that from 27 June entry requirements will vary depending on the prevalence of COVID-19 in travelers’ country of residence. Individuals from 'red' countries, including the UK, will not be permitted to enter unless they hold Tunisian citizenship or residence; visitors from 'orange' countries are permitted to enter under certain conditions, and those from 'green' countries can enter without restrictions. A list of 'orange' and 'green' countries are available online (in French) and will be updated weekly.

The tour operator has taken the decision to extend the suspension of all departing tours by one month, until 31 August. A series of updated FAQ's has been released in order to assist affected customers.

The resource provides detailed information for domestic interstate travel, as well as advice and restrictions for international destinations.

The Turkey visa application centre in New Delhi, India is now accepting long stay (student, work and resident permit) applications, as confirmed by Gateway Management, a visa management company authorized by the Turkish government. Travellers would require a prior appointment to visit the centre for submission of applications.

Delta Air Lines have today resumed flights between Seattle and Shanghai, making it the first U.S. airline to restart operations between the U.S. and mainland China. From July and beyond it will operate once-weekly flights from Seattle and Detroit to mainland China, included connecting services via Seoul, South Korea.
