          MGM GRAND: Further Las Vegas hotels set to re-open by 1 July 2020

          Following the opening of four resorts on 4 June, MGM has announced a further list of re-openings for the coming weeks. Luxor and The Shoppes at Mandalay Bay Place will reopen on June 25; Aria, Mandalay Bay and Four Seasons Las Vegas on 1 July.

          DISNEY WORLD: Orlando parks set to re-open from 11 July 2020

          Walt Disney World in Orlando is set to re-open on 11 July. The re-opening will begin with the resort's Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom parks, while Hollywood Studios and EPCOT are scheduled to re-open by 15 July. Some social distancing restrictions will be in place and face masks will be mandatory for visitors.

          MEXICO: Popular destinations re-open to tourism from 8 June 2020

          Today marks the official restart of tourism in some of Mexico’s most popular beach destinations. Hotels, resorts and other hospitality operators in hotspots like Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Riviera Maya, Akumal and Tulum, have started to welcome guests again (in limited capacities), thanks to orders from Quintana Roo’s governor, Carlos Manuel Joaquín González.

          MGM GRAND: Four Las Vegas hotels set to re-open on 4 June 2020

          MGM Grand has said it will re-open four properties in Las Vegas on 4 June after four months of closure. The Bellagio, New York-New York, the MGM Grand Las Vegas and The Signature will open with safety measures including employee screening, social distancing markers and plexiglass barriers.

          PESTANA HOTEL GROUP: Select properties in Portugal to re-open from 5 June 2020

          The group will begin opening select properties in Portugal, starting on 5 June. Pestana has introduced various new protocols and procedures in order to ensure the safety of their employees and visitors. During this first phase, the hotels that will be opening include Pestana Cascais in Lisbon; Pestana Viking, Pestana Alvor South Beach and Pestana D. João in Algarve; and The Pousadas de Portugal properties located in Viana do Castel, Ria do Aveiro, Alcácer do Sal, Sagres, Valença and Bragança.

          AUSTRIA: Hotels are due to re-open from 29 May 2020

          Austria has gradually been easing restrictions related to COVID-19 for over a month, with shops, restaurants, bars and some museums having already been opened to visitors; from 29 May, hotels are to follow. In a bid to encourage both leisure and business travel to return, the country has planned a significant expansion to its COVID-19 testing capacity in order to screen hotel staff.
