UNITED STATES: New York imposes quarantine on eight U.S. states
The U.S. states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut have asked people travelling from other states where COVID-19 cases are rising to go into self-isolation for 14 days. Currently those states are Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Washington and Utah; anyone found to be violating the self-isolation requirement could be fined a minimum of US$1000.
