CANADA: Pre entry testing requirements no longer needed for fully vaccinated travellers

Effective April 1, 2022 at 12:01 AM EDT, fully vaccinated travellers will no longer need to provide a pre-entry COVID-19 test result to enter Canada by air, land or water. Fully vaccinated travellers seeking to arrive in Canada before April 1, 2022, must still have a valid pre-entry test.

USA: Issues latest travel advisory updates

The US Department of State updated several of its travel advisories yesterday 1 March with 20 countries’ advisories changed based on the risk level of COVID-19 presence in those areas. Ghana, Lesotho, Liberia, Montserrat, the Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, and Togo moved to Level 2: Moderate Risk. Comoros, Cote D’Ivoire, Nigeria, Sao Tome and Principe, and Uganda were designated Level 3: High Risk. Anguilla, Belarus, British Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Mali, Russia, Saba, and Vietnam were listed under Level 4: Very High Risk

CANADA: Eases travel requirements as COVID cases decline

Canada will ease entry for fully vaccinated international travelers starting on Feb. 28 as COVID-19 cases decline, allowing a rapid antigen test for travelers instead of a molecular one, officials said on Tuesday.
